1 Day Intensive Cookery Programme

Ballyknocken Cookery School is now offering the unique chance of day long intensive cookery programmes designed specifically for transition year students.

Each course involves 2 x cookery sessions, lunch and dinner and leads to a Certificate of Development in Cookery Skills, Level 1.

The theme of the cookery sessions is Italian food and students will also be shown essential cookery techniques and knife skills. The classes are designed for the beginner/intermediate student, however classes can be arranged to cater for the more advanced students.

The cost per student is only €110 for the day and there are a minimum number of students required for each class.

Certificate of Development in Cookery Skills Level 1

Run by Catherine Fulvio and her team of expert tutors, this five day intensive cookery course is specially designed for transition and gap year students offering an introduction to basic cookery skills and knife skills. Each day begins at 9.30a.m. and finishes at 4.00p.m.and includes both cookery demonstrations and hands on classes during the week long programme.

  • 5 days intensive cookery (Monday to Friday inclusive)
  • Practical tuition of cookery techniques
  • Full hands on experience of preparing meals.
  • Full suite of recipes & cookery details.
  • 5 days meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning coffee and afternoon tea.
  • 4 nights accommodation (optional)

Please note a minimum number of students is required for this course.
